| الملخص: | The article analyzed the implementation of the environmental policy in the Decentralized Autonomous Government of Chimborazo (GADPCH), evaluating the opinion of different actors involved in it. Based on knowing how the environmental policy was implemented in the poultry sector in GADPCH between 2015-2017, ordinances were reviewed, and semi-structured interviews were applied to 16 technicians and 18 executives of the institution, as well as surveys to 108 operators of the different poultry companies, who threw data to validate the way in which said policy was applied in the reality studied. It was concluded that the policies applied did not have the desired effects due to problems in the implementation of the same in relation to the regularization, control and monitoring, evidenced in the knowledge gaps that many companies have regarding the ordinance and therefore problems that are presented to comply with the legal provisions, the poor improvement of environmental issues according to the people to whom the policy was defined as well as lack of measurable goals and objectives with indicators that allow to have a correct reading of the environmental management. The effort by the Decentralized Autonomous Government of Chimborazo (GADPCH) to involve the beneficiaries of environmental policy, and the need for training to achieve a more adequate implementation is highlighted. |
