Tilføj Tag | Summary: | In this document the importance of water as a strategic resource will be discussed, taking as a case of study the Guarani Aquifer like one of the world's largest transboundary resources which is located in the territory of Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. Will be analized the external actors to these countries as the World Bank, OAS, United States and its interests in this resource, also will be studied how these actors have intervened in the region looking for information about this important resource and the strategies used to intervene in the processes of decision-making, on the other hand will be studied how the countries owners of this resource have cooperated to protect the Guarani Aquifer and achieve a proper use of it. |
