Cooperación internacional Estados Unidos-Ecuador (2019-2021): participación de la agencia de los Estados Unidos para el desarrollo (USAID) en el marco de la asistencia a refugiados en Quito

The present study entitled "International cooperation United States-Ecuador (2019-2021): participation of the United States Agency for Development (USAID) in the framework of assistance to refugees in Quito", allows us to delve into the importance of international cooperation and mainly in relation to the participation of USAID in Ecuador, emphasizing its actions in Quito. As a North American institution, this agency has had a direct link in terms of assistance to refugees at a global level, so the analysis falls within the field of International Relations. At a theoretical-methodological level, the proposal assumes the contributions of constructivism as a theoretical current that allows analyzing the international system and considering the role of the main actors in bilateral politics from a qualitative approach, and also responds to a research design based on the application of data collection instruments that allow delving into the plane of ideas and social perceptions, so techniques that include documentary collection, text analysis, interviews, participant observation and management of statistical reports from a hermeneutical perspective are used. With this study it was possible to recognize the cooperation work of USAID in the field of assistance to refugees in the Ecuadorian capital and how it benefits said population. Likewise, it has been possible to understand that the migratory experiences from the perspective of human rights show the need to see the problem from a sphere that involves both the sending and receiving countries; In addition, it highlights international cooperation in Quito as an important cooperative precedent in the country's history, where the dynamics of human mobility and the role of USAID between 2019 and 2021 have become significant.
