At the same time, formal education is the tool that make this insertion to be possible. This has been the indirect objective of the Eloy Alfaro National Scholarship Program, especially in its Bono Human Development Component (BDH). The success of it could be valued in the Terminal Efficiency or successful completion of the studies and the adequate labor insertion of the scholarship holders, which would generate the improvement in the economic situation of the households of these quintiles. This study show that the indirect objetive was achieved, not in magnitud but in incidence, because got to increase in 32% the probability of scholarships holders get a job. And when they get a job, they aport theirs family income in 10%. There could see too this policity was a gender policy because the most people who get the universitary finish was women, 66%, and they show how a scholarship holder could broken this poverty circle. |
