La promesa del Ecuador sobre el fortalecimiento de la protección e inclusión social de las personas refugiadas y el principio de humanidad del derecho internacional humanitario

This paper focuses its approach on the follow-up to the voluntary promise assumed by Ecuador, in December 2015, before the XXXII International Conference of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, entitled: "Promise on strengthening the protection and social inclusion of refugees”. The work consists of three chapters, in the first, a bibliographic review of the theoretical framework about international protection of persons and its link with international humanitarian law and human rights is carried out; in the second, the international and national regulations that govern the issue of refugees are presented; and in the third chapter, a review of the measures and actions that the country has developed in order to comply with this international commitment.
