Etiketle | Özet: | The XXI century cities have assumed greater responsibilities as managers of development in a new structure of global governance. These cities are working, in a context ofthe "new public management", to develop public policies that provide solutions to economic, political, demographic, environmental, quality service development 01' investment issues. These non-state actors have the capacity to internationalize, through positioning strategies, their policies and development plans which resolve its citizen"s problems. In the case of Quito, it's municipality administrations had design development plans with specific strategic intervention but none of them had set strategic guidelines of international relationship. In this regard, the present study has designed an international positioning plan with 4 axles: Quito Intel!igent, Quito Competitive, Regarding Quito Best Practices, Quito like Cooperation bidder to ensure that the city wil! strengthen the space gained in the global local governments scenario. |
