El presente proyecto tiene como finalidad la creación de un manual de salud y seguridad ocupacional para el laboratorio clínico ServiLab dentro del distrito metropolitano de Quito durante el periodo 2017, el método utilizado para la elaboración del manual es descriptivo debido a que nos permite un conocimiento en cada una de las actividades que realizan y la cultura organizacional del laboratorio, acompañado de la recolección de datos mediante la encuesta en donde se determina la utilización de la indumentaria necesaria (equipo de protección personal, maquinaria e instrumentos), para la minimización de riesgos laborales. Como resultados se encuentra que el laboratorio clínico ServiLab requiere de la implementación del manual de salud y seguridad ocupacional, equipo de protección personal, señalética, mantenimiento de equipos, capacitaciones para el uso de indumentaria, por otra parte demuestra que existe predisposición y colaboración para el avance de la organización.
