Esta cuidad es pequeña tanto en población como en territorio pero muy grande y rica en cultura y tradición los cuales se ve reflejados en la infraestructura de su centro histórico y los museos que contiene aumentan su valor cultural a esta población además de su gran aporte económico para el Ecuador posicionándose en una de las principales ciudades industriales del país aportando con alimentos y ganadería por todo el Ecuador.
