El objetivo principal es mejorar la eficiencia operativa y la calidad de los servicios de TI mediante la utilización de Kubernetes, centrándose en la portabilidad, fiabilidad y disponibilidad de las aplicaciones contenerizadas. El estudio comienza con una fase de planificación, donde se recolecta y analiza información relevante para diseñar una arquitectura de clúster adecuada. Se evalúan los recursos disponibles y se seleccionan las aplicaciones a desplegar. Posteriormente, se desarrolla el entorno de pruebas, incluyendo la instalación y configuración del sistema operativo, Kubernetes, y herramientas adicionales para el monitoreo y gestión de contenedores. La fase de entrega implica pruebas para validar la funcionalidad del clúster y su capacidad para gestionar aplicaciones en contenedores. Finalmente, se realiza la transferencia formal del entorno de pruebas al departamento de TI de la PUCE-Ibarra, asegurando que esté listo para su uso operativo.
