Diseño arquitectónico de un centro ecoturista para la integración de la comunidad Fakcha Llakta de Peguche, Otavalo

Tourism is one of the most important economic activities, due to its contribution to social, environmental and cultural development. In Ecuador, tourism has been progressing thanks to the various strategic plans that give importance to Sumak Kawsay, which allows to take advantage of nature and socio-cultural dimensions. With the emergence of ecotourism, design methods begin to develop according to the principle of respect for nature, which leads to the production of design in terms of performance seeking to minimize the impact on the natural environment and the community. The purpose of this research study is to carry out the development of an architectural project that responds to the needs of the tourist space of residents and visitors, promoting environmentally conscious learning of cultural and natural heritage with the participation and improve the quality of life of the local community, allowing the integration of tourism with the activities they generate, through the design of an architectural proposal for the promotion of ecotourism in the rural context of the community of Peguche. A thorough review of documents such as books, magazine articles, degree works, local newspapers, among others, was carried out. For the theoretical support of the research. The methodology that was used was through the method of analysis as well as for the detection of the problem instruments were applied as surveys that were applied to tourists, in addition, interviews were conducted with the authorities of the community of Fakcha Llakta. The lack of spaces to expose the culture and nature of the place is a problem, so we intend to develop a project that transmits tranquility to the user and reflects the culture of the place and the native landscape of the community at the same time.
