This is to identify the frequency and characteristics of sharps accidents in Nursing students during their pre-professional practices at the second level of care.The methodology used is descriptive, cross-sectional, and retrospective, with a qualitative-quantitative approach. Additionally, data obtained will be analyzed, which will allow for the quantification and description of the registered cases. It is expected that the results will provide a clear picture of the incidence of these accidents, which will enable educational institutions to adopt more effective prevention and protection measures. Finally, this research will provide a solid basis for future interventions and will contribute to improving the training and safety of students in the clinical environment. |
