Diseño de un pabellón portátil para la reactivación de vacíos urbanos, caso Guayaquil de Alpachaca

The degree work addresses the study of urban voids and presents a proposal for the reactivation and mitigation of the pathol ogies generated by the urban phenomenon. For this purpose, five stages were elaborated: theoretical, field study, analysis of results, practical and constructive. Urban voids are spaces found within the urban fabric, characterized by abandonment, disuse and absence of activity, gener ating different pathologies depending on the inhabitants and the environment in which they are located. Within the search and identification of the urban phenomenon, a case study was chosen located in the peri-urban space of the city of Ibarra, characterized by spontaneous and unplanned growth in its first stage of development. In the Guayaquil de Alpachaca parish, we found vacant lots, parks, stadiums and underutilized fields that presented pathologies such as abandonment, insecurity, accumulation of waste and improper use of space. Finally, three scales of intervention were proposed: at the urban level, a rehabilitation plan for the facilities identified as empty\; at the architectural level, a migratory pavilion based on ephemeral, adaptable and transformable architecture\; and at the con struction level, the elaboration of a full-scale prototype of the proposal.
