Estudio del incremento del trabajo informal a consecuencia de la migración venezolana y sus afectaciones en los derechos laborales en la ciudad de Ibarra

Venezuelan migration to Ecuador has had a significant impact in the workplace, both for migrants and for Ecuadorian workers\; The objective of this research was to investigate the improvement of the increase in informal work as a result of Venezuelan migration, through socio-legal analysis to know its effects on labor rights in the city of Ibarra. The present work was developed under a qualitative approach since specific information regarding the informal work of migrants of Venezuelan citizenship located in the city of Ibarra has been compiled and analyzed, allowing to deepen the study of the migratory phenomenon in relation to informality. Results were obtained that various labor rights have been violated for both migrants and Ecuadorian workers, among the rights affected are the right to decent work, fair wages, social security, health, education and protection labor. To address this problem, it is necessary to implement policies and programs that promote the generation of formal employment, both for migrants and for the local population. In addition, control and supervision mechanisms must be strengthened to guarantee compliance with labor rights, promoting formal hiring and the protection of workers.
