| Čoahkkáigeassu: | The present work focuses on the architectural design of an Ethno-education Center for the Valle del Chota community, located in the Ambuquí parish. It starts from an approach that emphasizes the cultural and educational part, in order to strengthen two vulnerable points in the area, promoting education and in turn generating attachment to the culture of the area. Using and applying the concepts of ethno-education to reinforce and recognize the identity of the Afro-Ecuadorian people, it is possible to understand, in a complex way, the weak aspects of education, culture and infrastructure of the place. At the same time, it seeks to promote the development of the area through the proposed architectural project. The methodology is based on ex post-facto research, which is divided into 4 phases connected to each other by means of transversal variables: history, culture and society. To collect the information, 4 tools are proposed that help to exemplify the information graphically and in writing for a better understanding. The first two phases focus on the analysis of the site from the macro (Valle del Chota) to the meso (El Juncal), generating criteria prior to the architectural intervention, concluding these two phases with concepts and social and cultural spaces and the identification of the sector. Meanwhile, phases 3 and 4 focus on the physical-spatial development of the wine-education center project for the inhabitants of the El Juncal sector, under the criteria obtained in the diagnosis. The result is the application of cultural and educational highlights, embodied in illustrations, plans and a model to indicate the project. It concludes with an equipment that meets the needs of the inhabitants and promotes the development of the sector. |
