| सारांश: | This work addresses the problem of housing quality in the community of Rumipamba Grande, La Esperanza parish, Ibarra canton, focusing on social inequalities and disparities between rural and urban areas. Through detailed analysis and specific methodologies, innovative housing solutions adaptable to the local context were explored. The project focused on the development of a progressive home that can grow in stages, respecting the customs and materials of the region. This progressive approach reduces initial construction costs and offers flexible configurations that adapt to the changing needs of residents. As an integral part of this effort, a Self-Building Guide with Compressed Earth Blocks (CBT) was developed, aimed at improving construction practices and promoting responsible self-construction. The guide includes details, recommendations and illustrations that optimize construction processes, correct and mitigate common errors in the use of ground-based systems, and empower the community by providing practical knowledge. This work not only seeks to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants, but also to preserve traditional techniques and materials, integrating them with modern standards of habitability. The research and proposed solutions promise to contribute to the sustainability and security of rural housing in the community studied, promoting the creation of safer and more durable homes, and raising the quality of life of its inhabitants. |
