Samenvatting:This work aims to improve the educational reality of the south rural area of Camarones’s Town, Esmeraldas, carrying out a proposal for educational equipment with a sustainable approach in three different areas: environmental, economic and social. The design process is based on spatial criteria, as a result of the ethnographic analysis of the community, to finish with layers of use that cause a continuity between school, family and community life. It is planned to work in a strategic area, facilitating access to education for children and young people from neighborhoods close to the sector. Throughout the project, participatory and investigative methods are used to generate values of appropriation and spatial empathy in local families. It concludes with the design proposal of an equipment that allows the development of a learning space and economic development of the community through productive and sustainable zones, creating areas suitable for itinerant activities.
