Summary:This research work is carried out for the company Micro Mercado Mariela in relation to the development of a strategic plan with a methodological application and a mixed approach and descriptive scope. According to the state of the art, the information was collected through scientific journals, strategic planning books, and master's theses focused on the subject, which pointed to the fact that strategic planning can lead to a more accelerated growth of the company, and to achieve success over time. Also, it is a useful tool to face the future through efficiency, competitiveness, good management of resources and a better direction towards established objectives. The main objective to be achieved in this study is to carry out a strategic plan for Micro Mercado Mariela, in Olmedo, Pichincha, during the 2023-2027 period\; this, through the specific objectives established, such as the strategic diagnosis, the determination of expectations or demands of external and internal actors in Micro Mercado Mariela, and the formulation of the strategic direction. For the resolution of the problem, some research instruments were used to collect the information: surveys, interviews and observation sheets, for example. Therefore, tools such as the MEFE, MEFI and FODA were taken into account\; these, for the definition of internal and external factors, in addition to the formulation of strategies through the SWOT. The next aspect was the drafting of strategic objectives, strategies and policies, considering the mission, vision, corporate values and design of the organizational chart. Finally, the operational plans were designed based on three strategies for each of the three established strategic objectives. Likewise, within the POA, the design and writing of various elements, such as the project charter, schedule, budget and indicators, were considered.
