The importance of studying this topic is inclined towards how a cantonal body can act in the face of a violation of rights and its position regarding the application of administrative protection measures, especially when seeking to protect the right to education. The general objective was to determine the scope of the protection measures issued by the Junta Cantonal de Protección de Derechos de Ibarra by studying the data of the administrative resolutions of the year 2022, in order to know the level of effectiveness of the protection of the right to education of girls, boys and adolescents. In this research, qualitative approach was used, in addition to the socio-legal method, while the techniques used were documentary and case studies. Through the analysis of data from forty-seven cases of childhood and adolescence, related to negligence in the educational system that came to the attention of the Junta Cantonal de Ibarra, the result was that the problems are inclined to the negligence of the parents. towards girls, boys and adolescents, so that the vast majority of complainants are educational institutions, who actively collaborate with the cantonal body. The conclusion was that, in the period of January-December 2022, the Junta Cantonal de Ibarra heard a total of forty-seven cases, of which: in thirty-one cases the protection measures were complied with\; in five cases they were not fulfilled\; In two cases, the agency refrained from continuing with the development of the case\; and, in nine cases, compliance could not be verified for various reasons. |
