Through the analysis of data from forty-seven cases of childhood and adolescence, related to negligence in the educational system that came to the attention of the Junta Cantonal de Ibarra, the result was that the problems are inclined to the negligence of the parents. towards girls, boys and adolescents, so that the vast majority of complainants are educational institutions, who actively collaborate with the cantonal body. The conclusion was that, in the period of January-December 2022, the Junta Cantonal de Ibarra heard a total of forty-seven cases, of which: in thirty-one cases the protection measures were complied with\; in five cases they were not fulfilled\; In two cases, the agency refrained from continuing with the development of the case\; and, in nine cases, compliance could not be verified for various reasons. |

La importancia de estudio de este tópico, va inclinada hacia el cómo un organismo cantonal puede actuar frente a una vulneración de derechos y su posición respecto a la aplicación de medidas de protección para tutelar el derecho a la educación. El objetivo general fue determinar el alcance de las medidas de protección emitidas por la Junta Cantonal de Protección de Derechos de Ibarra, mediante el estudio de los datos de las resoluciones administrativas del año 2022, con la finalidad de conocer el nivel de efectividad de la tutela del derecho a la educación de las niñas, niños y adolescentes. En esta investigación se empleó el enfoque cualitativo, además del método socio jurídico, en tanto que, las técnicas usadas fueron la documental y el estudio de casos. Mediante el análisis de datos de cuarenta y siete casos de materia de niñez y adolescencia, relativos a negligencias en el sistema educativo que llegaron al conocimiento de la Junta Cantonal de Ibarra, se obtuvo como resultado que las problemáticas van inclinadas a la negligencia de los padres para con las niñas, niños y adolescentes, de forma que los denunciantes en su gran mayoría son las instituciones educativas, quienes colaboran activamente con el organismo cantonal.
