The results of thisinvestigation revealed that in said entity only 61.25% of compliance and effectiveness of the protection measures granted in favor of the rights of girls, boys and adolescents who have been victims of domestic violence in said canton during the year 2020. |

El objetivo general de este trabajo es determinar qué tan eficaz fue la Junta Cantonal de Protección de Derechos al cumplir con su función pública de defender los derechos de las niñas, niños y adolescentes en la incidencia de casos de violencia contra la mujer y/o miembros del núcleo familiar registrados en el año 2020. La pregunta que conduce la investigación es: ¿Es eficaz la Junta Cantonal de Protección de Derechos para cumplir con su función pública de defender los derechos de las niñas, niños y adolescentes en la incidencia de casos de violencia contra la mujer y miembros del núcleo familiar registrados en el año 2020? El enfoque de la investigación es cualitativo y los métodos aplicados fueron el normativista y el socio jurídico, debido a que se analizaron normas legales y se efectuaron entrevistas a miembros de la Junta Cantonal de Protección de Derechos de Ibarra.
