| Περίληψη: | The use of simulation laboratories plays a fundamental role in the training of nursing students and other health sciences programs, serving as a key tool for skill development. In this context, it is essential to understand students' perceptions regarding the usefulness and practicality of these spaces during their training to optimize and enhance their learning experience. This study aimed to determine the level of satisfaction among students enrolled in the Higher Technician in Nursing program at PUCE-Ibarra during the period from October 2024 to February 2025. The research was conducted using a quantitative, descriptive, and field-based approach with a non experimental, cross-sectional design. A questionnaire titled 'Quality and Satisfaction Survey on Clinical Simulation' was administered through digital tools such as Google Forms, employing graphical representations as a technique for data analysis and interpretation. The results obtained from applying the instrument to 121 students in the Higher Technician in Nursing program indicate that overall satisfaction with simulation is perceived positively, with the majority of responses falling under 'satisfied' (39%) and 'completely satisfied' (29%). Additionally, the study highlights that female-identifying students (71%) reported higher satisfaction levels during simulations compared to male-identifying students (29%). These findings suggest areas for improvement in the structure of the simulation to better align with students' expectations. Specific aspects requiring attention include adjustments in the design and implementation of simulation based teaching strategies, with a particular focus on the duration of simulations and the realism of clinical scenarios. |
