| Sumario: | This study was carried out at the Credit Union 'Sierra Norte' in Ibarra, Ecuador, with the aim of measuring and analysing in a comprehensive manner the factors that affect the job satisfaction of the cooperative's employees in order to understand their impact on the working environment and contribute to the continuous improvement of working conditions in the organisation. It is an analysis to identify factors that affect the well-being of employees and proposed improvement strategies to optimise the working environment in the institution. The research was descriptive and exploratory, using a quantitative approach based on surveys applied to 20 employees, whose results were analyzed with SPSS software, applying descriptive and exploratory statistics, as well as factorial and correlation analysis to identify and evaluate the relationships between the key variables of job satisfaction and job performance. The research revealed that job satisfaction is significantly influenced by motivation, professional development and interpersonal relationships, highlighting the importance of recognition and professional growth opportunities. Strategies were designed to create a more satisfying and productive work environment. And as conclusions, the need to implement these strategies to improve the satisfaction and job performance of the collaborators of the 'Sierra Norte' Credit Union is highlighted, focusing on motivation, professional development and interpersonal relationships. |
