Six variables were analyzed: Organizational Commitment, Labor Motivation, Personal Conditions, Work Characteristics, Interpersonal Relations and Personnel Policies. For data analysis, the Sperman correlation coefficient was used. In this way, the percentage of influence of motivation on work performance was determined, and it was possible to design strategies to strengthen these variables. Organizational commitment and personal conditions are the variables that stand out at the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador Ibarra campus according to the analysis and results obtained. Since all the variables are in a very low positive correlation, they need that plus to improve them and continue to increase their perception. |

Since all the variables are in a very low positive correlation, they need that plus to improve them and continue to increase their perception.Este estudio tiene como objetivo diseñar y construir estrategias para la influencia de la motivación en el desempeño laboral de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador Sede Ibarra, Para lograr los objetivos se analizó la motivación y el desempeño laboral mediante encuestas tipo Likert que fue entregado al personal administrativo (115) de la Universidad. Se analizaron 6 variables: Compromiso organizacional, Motivación laboral, Condiciones personales, Características del Trabajo, Relaciones interpersonales y Políticas de personal. Para el análisis de datos su utilizó el Coeficiente de correlación de Sperman. De esa forma, se determinó el porcentaje de influencia de la motivación en el desempeño laboral, y se pudo diseñar las estrategias para fortalecer dichas variables. El compromiso organizacional y las condiciones personales son las variables que destacan en la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador Sede Ibarra de acuerdo al análisis y resultados obtenidos.
