Ychwanegu Tag | Crynodeb: | The starting point of this degree work is to analyze the real situation that the Monserrat neighborhood of the city of Otavalo is going through, based on the problem that exists regarding the number of abandoned pets that wander the streets, and that increase day by day. Furthermore, the quality and quantity of veterinary medicine establishments in the city are analyzed, in order to offer an urban-architectural proposal, through the design of an animal rescue center that largely solves the problem. For this rescue center, three important spaces are proposed: shelter area, adoption and veterinary hospital, but the main focus is the design of the hospital, considering animal health to be of greater importance. The equipment is especially planned for the Monserrat neighborhood, where a higher abandonment rate was found, and in general for the city of Otavalo, since it will offer care for pets with and without homes. It was also diagnosed that in the city, despite the fact that there is small These clinics do not have the necessary services and do not supply the entire city. In the sector where the project is proposed, a climate, demographic, land use, topography, and existing equipment analysis is carried out\; review of documents and regulations, three important references are analyzed, which aims to provide us with design parameters in terms of form, function and structure. The project has large green areas, a landscape design that links the macro and meso scale towards the arrival point of the micro scale.
