Descripción
Summary:This research aims to analyze the steps and procedures that DaVinci Roses Cia. Ltda. must follow to successfully implement fair trade practices. Therefore, the importance of fair trade for companies in the Ecuadorian floriculture sector will be analyzed to establish the main advantages in international markets that a certified organization could access. This study will focus on analyzing aspects related to the floriculture sector of Tabacundo, to determine the potential impacts on the company under study. Additionally, it will evaluate the working conditions of local workers to establish parameters for improving their current living conditions. The presence of marked job insecurity in floriculture could negatively impact the implementation of fair trade practices at DaVinci Roses, as there is a lack of necessary education and training about this movement. This could lead to a commercial disadvantage due to unfair competition in this economic sector. The study aims to highlight the labor, social, and environmental conditions of the company under study to identify potential areas for improvement, to fully comply with the certification standards imposed by Fairtrade International. This will enable the company to properly execute the implementation plan schedule for fair trade practices developed for this research.
