| Streszczenie: | The present degree work aims to be an important contribution to the enhancement of the urban parish of Caranqui in the city of Ibarra, through an architectural project of an archaeological interpretation center in Inca Huasi, as a proposal. The architectural proposal of an interpretation center is a strategic and creative process that seeks to highlight the cultural and historical importance of the Inca Huasi archaeological site, being the last architectural contribution of the Inca empire in the region. This center plays a crucial role in preserving and promoting heritage, while also offering educational and exciting experiences for visitors. The location of the interpretation center is very important. It is strategically located in the archaeological site, which it aims to interpret, which facilitates the physical and visual connection between the spaces. Additionally, the accessi bility of the location is considered, ensuring that it is easily accessible to local visitors and tourists, preferably with close options for public transportation and adequate parking. A key part of the design of the interpretation center is the layout of the interior space. There will be exhibition areas of archaeological remains with adequate lighting and security for their proper conservation. These exhibitions will be organized chronologically or thematically that will take visitors on a journey through time, allowing them to understand the evolution and historical significance of the Inca archaeological site. In addition to the exhibition spaces, educa tional and explanatory zones are provided, including conference rooms, exhibition halls and interactive activity areas where visitors can participate in workshops, multimedia exhibitions or lectures given by archaeologists. This educatio nal space is of great importance to enrich visitors’ experiences and promote learning and active participation. In terms of architectural design, the interpretation center combines functionality, aesthetics and respect for the ar chaeological space. It is important that the building blends harmoniously with the surrounding landscape as it will use sustainable and environmentally friendly construction materials. The architecture of the center will be inspired by local history and culture, incorporating traditional and modern elements that reflect the uniqueness of the place. In summary, the architectural proposal for the archaeological interpretation center intended for heritage value en hancement will take into account a variety of considerations, from the location and design of the building to the layout of the interior and exterior spaces. These elements are effectively combined to create a center that not only preserves and promotes archaeological heritage, but also offers enriching and memorable experiences for visitors. |
