Riassunto:The objective of the text is to reflect on the concept that has been built up around displacement, presuming, it is motivated by gastronomy. In order to invite the discussion of this phenomenon which may well be called culture, the method of document analysis is used to question discourses about the gastronomic tourism. It is necessary to discuss primarily the concept of gastronomy as well as its link with tourism and the presumption that it is the engine of the trip, and secondly exposure to the concept of gastronomic tourism as cultural tourism because the food is an integral part of the culture of each people.
