Miêu tả
Tóm tắt:In Ecuador, cattle farming is a fundamental pillar of the agricultural and economic sectors. This production system, distributed across different regions of the country, must be governed by Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), which are the standards that guarantee the quality and sustainability of agricultural production. In this context, this research aimed to validate the implementation of GAP in a cattle production system oriented to market dairy products in Palo Blanco, Carchi province. For this validation, the research evaluated the degree of compliance with the official GAP checklists by Agrocalidad. The level of compliance found was 71 %. To optimize GAP, it was important to identify areas that required attention and adjustments. These findings underline the need to strengthen the implementation of GAP in livestock farms in the area. In addition, they emphasize the critical role of supervision and continuous monitoring in adopting these practices. With adequate attention to the identified areas of improvement, it is possible to improve infrastructure, provide training, and strengthen the sustainability of bovine production systems in Palo Blanco.
