Beskrivelse
Summary:The present thesis aims to design an integrated plumbing system for the “Las Orquídeas” electrical substation, ensuring the supply and distribution of potable water, as well as the proper collection and disposal of wastewater and stormwater, in compliance with technical regulations. The proposal seeks to provide the optimal solution for the project, establishing a system that maintains the safety and functionality of the installations. The methodology included a topographic survey of the project area, collection of architectural information, and analysis of the substation’s physical characteristics. Based on the data obtained, calculations were carried out to determine the potable water demand required by the substation, ensuring compliance with user allocations and operational requirements. Design flows were determined for each section, and hydraulic formulas were applied to size pipes, slopes, diameters, and pressures. For the wastewater system, an internal network was designed to convey effluents to a safe disposal point in accordance with regulations. Regarding the stormwater system, water collection was carried out through sumps and conveyed via pipelines to achieve controlled discharge, preventing flooding or accumulation that could affect the electrical infrastructure. To provide a better understanding of the systems, construction drawings and a preliminary project budget were prepared, detailing quantities of work, materials, and estimated costs for implementation. The results demonstrate the technical and economic feasibility of the proposed solution.
