Los beneficios de aplicar las TICs en la Universidad

The following article displays an analysis of the benefits of applying ICT in college education. Technology is considered as the architect of countless actions that trigger successes and failures in different areas of personal and professional development. In college ICT has become an instrument of knowledge. It is essential for achieving a level of quality education, in which teachers and students are the actors who benefit from its application. It enables them to address issues of various kinds, to get involved in varied learning environments enriched with active learning strategies that technology offers, an environment where there is a joint effort to create their own knowledge in an efficient and solid way, generating successful learning outcomes. Therefore, it is necessary to establish the advantages of its application in education and to raise awareness about their proper use in the educational community. The aim should be to strengthen and create learning skills with an ethical and innovative aspect, that of a XXI century technological and digital culture.
