Resumo:This thesis, entitled INTERNAL CONTROL IN TRACEABILITY AND EXPORT QUALITY, is aimed at improving traceability and implementing new tools for mango producers and exporters in our country. This way, the industry could access this research and implement these traceability methods for internal control, to maximizing productivity. Ecuador is one of the principal mango exporters in South America, standing out for the quality of its fruit thanks to its favorable climate and coastal geographical conditions, mostly in the provinces of Guayas, Santa Elena, and Los Ríos. The Ecuadorian mango export season goes from October to January, coinciding with international demand during the end-of-year holidays. The main varieties exported are Tommy Atkins, Kent, and Keitt, with the most important markets being the United States, Canada, the European Union, and, to a lesser extent, countries in Asia and the Middle East. Ecuadorian mangoes must meet strict phytosanitary standards, especially for the US market, which requires hydrothermal treatment to prevent the presence of pests such as fruit flies............
