Tóm tắt:The present research work is an analysis of the situation of the "Grupo Comercial Elvis" in the city of Guayaquil and its main objective is the design of an organizational structure to improve its efficiency, due to the fact that it currently has inadequate administrative processes. Therefore, it is evident that there are problems and uncertainty at the time of performing their work activities, such as duplication of functions, lack of coordination of activities, negative work environment due to lack of communication, which directly affects the efficiency of the working staff. Through this analysis, we seek to affirm the knowledge obtained at the university on how to properly organize, plan and manage a company with the proper structuring of an organizational design for the proper growth of a company. For this reason, the elaboration of an organizational structure design will allow decision making with efficient results, improve the labor efficiency of all workers, the elimination of duplicity of work, which causes greater performance in the workforce and a correct distribution of personnel, For this reason, the functions manual accurately determines the respective descriptions of functions, job descriptions, internal regulations, responsibilities and competencies required for each position, the management of processes and procedures to be carried out by the employees of Grupo Comercial Elvis according to the work area they occupy, which will allow for better control of the activities to be performed. Likewise, the strategies proposed in this research work are aimed at improving efficiency.
