Summary:Within the construction industry, the planning and schedule control processes are important phases, because during the development of the work there are errors in the preparation of the initial programming of the projects that cause delays in their execution. For this reason, the objective of this study is to analyze the planning of heavy equipment in the Apolo - Duran construction project, through Fast Tracking and Crashing. For which a methodology with a descriptive quantitative approach was used, characterized by collecting information without the need to influence the manipulation of variables, showing the evidence in its natural state, directed in a non experimental design. Fast tracking and Crashing techniques were applied to the programming of activities that would be executed in the Apolo – Duran project. Where it was evident that through the use of the Fast-tracking technique, the schedule of activities establishes a duration of 150 days; However, by readjusting the schedule of activities using the Crashing technique, a duration period of 130 days was determined from the beginning to the end of the project.
