It focuses on the health of older people through anthropometric principles and the application of biophilic design principles. The study is based on a comprehensive assessment of the physical environment, guided by the need for specialized infrastructure to combat population aging. The proposal included an evaluation of local, national, and international standards (NEC, MIES, INEN) as well as the internal validation of experimental studies. The proposal focuses on a functional and positive outcome of a gerontology center to improve the quality of life of older people in Salitre.
