Description
Summary:The present research aimed to analyze music as an improvement in the learning of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. It began from the observation of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder who received music lessons, where a positive increase in their learning could be observed. Therefore, a descriptive research was developed with a mixed approach applying a series of instruments such as the observation sheet aimed at students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, the interview with teachers who apply music as a learning strategy and a survey of parents with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder who receive music as a didactic strategy in the educational field. The results obtained indicate that the sample taken from 5 students to be in contact with music improved in their learning, being more participatory and attentive. Teachers express in a positive way that music is a good strategy to stimulate certain areas in children with this disorder, such as attention, memory, communication skills and most of all in their learning. In turn, parents agree that music has helped improve the development of learning, as well as in other areas such as emotional and affective, communicative and social. Concluding that music improves learning in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
