Sumari:This research addresses the issues arising from landslides on mountain roads, particularly those with safety factors below recommended standards. Proper evaluation of these factors is essential for predicting and mitigating risks associated with unstable slopes, ensuring the safety of personnel and infrastructure. This study focuses on the assessment of slope stability through field tests such as granulometry and triaxial tests, which are fundamental for determining the stratigraphy and physical-mechanical parameters of the soil. These tests are conducted in accordance with ASTM standards to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the results obtained. Granulometry helps understand the particle size distribution in the soil, which influences its mechanical behavior, while the triaxial test allows for the evaluation of soil strength and deformability under controlled pressure and moisture conditions......
