Summary:The present work of degree studies the role of the family and its impact on the motor development of children from 3 to 4 years of the School of Basic Education Clara Wither Ferretti of the city of Guayaquil of the school year 2017-2018. Its general objective was to analyze the incidence of the role of the family in motor development in children aged 3 to 4 years who had a delay in physical-motor development. The study was approached from a qualitative-quantitative approach, with a sample of 40 students aged 3 and 4 years, and 35 parents, to whom different instruments were applied. It was shown that children present difficulties with fine motor development specifically in the digital clamp, and in gross motor development, in body coordination and balance, due to the parents' lack of knowledge………
