Análisis de los costos y su relación con la producción de la camaronera Rosimar de la ciudad de Huaquillas, provincia de El Oro

The research titled "Analysis of costs and their relationship with the production of the shrimp farm 'Rosimar' in the city of Huaquillas, province of El Oro" focuses on analyzing how production costs affect the profitability of the shrimp farm. Specific objectives include developing theoretical foundations on shrimp production costs, identifying critical areas within the costs involved, and preparing a technical report based on findings. To achieve these objectives, a mixed methodological approach was used, involving data collection through surveys, interviews, and financial records analysis of the 'Rosimar' shrimp farm. Statistical tools were employed to analyze the relationship between operational costs and production levels. Results revealed that input costs and adverse weather conditions are the primary factors impacting the profitability of the shrimp farm. Specific areas for improvement were identified, such as adopting advanced technologies and sustainable management practices. Conclusions emphasize the importance of efficient cost management to enhance the long-term competitiveness and sustainability of 'Rosimar' within the shrimp farming sector in Huaquillas and the province of El Oro. This study not only contributes to academic knowledge on cost management in the Ecuadorian shrimp industry but also provides practical recommendations for managers and decision-makers in similar enterprises facing comparable challenges in a globalized competitive environment.
