We believe it is vital to address this purpose to avoid errors on the sumak kawsay. Even though sumak kawsay comes from criticism and contributions of ancient Andean cultures, however, it does not end as eminently culturalist approach neither it promotes to back to the past. It is critically framed in a holistic way in the universal tendency to seek new insights into human welfare, equity and harmony with nature, beyond economism grounded in the markets. |
