Resumo:The present work focuses on the analysis of the economic impact caused by closed-type Savings and Credit Cooperatives on employees of public and private institutions, the main problem being the lack of a detailed study that supports and contributes to social benefit. and positive that they cause this type of cooperatives in society, accompanied by a lack of knowledge of the community about the advantages provided by this type of institutions. The objective was to examine the operation and benefits of the financial cooperative system, applying the descriptive qualitative method, where the services provided by closed-type cooperatives versus open-type cooperatives were analyzed, evaluated and compared, determining that the understanding of their creation, operation and the correct use of them, will help improve the quality of life of its partners, while serving as a contribution to the growth of the economy and collective wealth.
