URL: https://revistas.uta.edu.ec/erevista/index.php/bcoyu/article/view/1064El presente trabajo se centra en el análisis del impacto económico que causan las Cooperativas de Ahorro y Crédito de tipo cerrada, sobre los empleados de las instituciones públicas y privadas, partiendo como principal problema la inexistencia de un estudio detenido que sustente y aporte del beneficio social y positivo que causan este tipo de cooperativas en la sociedad, acompañado de un desconocimiento de la colectividad sobre las ventajas que prestan este tipo de instituciones. El objetivo fue examinar la operatividad y beneficios del sistema cooperativo financiero, aplicando el método cualitativo descriptivo, donde se analizaron, evaluaron y compararon los servicios que brindan las cooperativas de tipo cerrada frente a las de tipo abierta, determinándose que la comprensión de su creación, funcionamiento y el uso correcto de las mismas, ayudará a mejorar la calidad de vida de sus socios, a la vez servirá de aporte para el crecimiento de la economía y riqueza colectiva.
