In this analysis, we consider variables that characterize the economic situation of the country, as well as others directly related to the construction process and it´s influence in the wages of the workers. The results show that the short and medium term behavior of wages depend on the ending of the different stages of construction process, due to payment of bonuses by achivement of goals. In the other hands, the variables that characteice the economic evolution it´s not relevant in determine the behaviour of the wages of the construction´s workers. URL: https://revistas.uta.edu.ec/erevista/index.php/bcoyu/article/view/1461El sector de la construcción, es uno de los más intensivos en la demanda de mano de obra dentro de las economías, sin embargo, los determinantes del comportamiento de corto y mediano plazo de las remuneraciones en la actividad son desconocidos para la literatura especializada. En esta investigación, a través de tres técnicas econométricas que determinan temporalidades, fue analizada la evolución que presentan los salarios que perciben los trabajadores de la construcción frente a variables que caracterizan la coyuntura económica del país, así como otras relacionadas de forma directa con el proceso de edificación. Los resultados muestran que el comportamiento de corto y mediano plazo de las remuneraciones se encuentra en función de los cumplimientos de los hitos relativos a las distintas etapas propias de la construcción, dado que estas se encuentran asociadas a pagos de bonos por logro de metas para los trabajadores, mientras que las variables económicas no presentan evidencia acerca de su influencia en la evolución de las remuneraciones en Chile.
