La integración de perspectivas de género en el análisis económico se muestra como esencial para problematizar el rol que se les ha asignado a las mujeres en la economía desde la teoría económica neoclásica, así como también para comprender y discutir las raíces de estas disparidades. La investigación profundiza en la relación entre la desigualdad económica y la desigualdad de género, evaluando factores como la distribución del trabajo no remunerado y la participación de las mujeres en el mercado laboral.
