The paper finds that the long list of modifications on money laundering undermines the legal certainty and the consideration of criminal law as ultima ratio, within the framework of a globalized crime policy.La última reforma del Código penal español, mediante la Ley orgánica 6/2021, de 28 de abril, agrava la pena del delito de blanqueo de dinero a los sujetos obligados por la normativa de prevención cuando blanqueen en el ejercicio de su actividad profesional y también incrementa el castigo del blanqueo cuando los bienes procedan de la trata de seres humanos, los delitos contra los ciudadanos extranjeros, los relativos a la prostitución y a la explotación sexual, la corrupción de menores y en los negocios.
