סיכום:The Tiwintza conflicto was the final step to get the final moment of peace between Ecuador and Peru. Tiwintza is a mountain located in the border heart of these states. To seal peace, this mountain, with one square kilometer, was part of the conditions that Ecuador created as non-negotiable to obtain the long-awaited peace. On behalf a brief historical review of the origin of the Tiwinza Square Kilometer, it makes a theoretical approach to the antipersonnel mines that both states planted and that both have worked to remove; and, it raises some proposals of the bilateral agenda of both states, after the long-awaited peace.
