Tiwintza es una montaña ubicada en el corazón fronterizo de Ecuador y Perú. Para sellar la paz, esta montaña, con un kilómetro cuadrado fue parte de las condiciones que Ecuador generó como innegociable para sellar la tan anhelada paz.
