Resumo:The media play an important role that is to disseminate information, they are responsible for creating public opinion and, therefore, their influence is decisive in society, to do this, they are based on the right to freedom of information, but what happens if this right collides with others, also fundamental, such as the presumption of innocence? When the media, in the exercise of its activities, disseminate information about criminal proceedings, which are being carried out in the administration of justice, mishandling of information could imply serious violations of due process.
