El resultado de este análisis apunta la ausencia de la voz de los ribereños alcanzados por el proyecto. Se concluye que el periodismo aporta una gran contribución a la discusión sobre la complejidad ambiental.Este artigo discute o silenciamento de vozes na produção de noticiário em jornais de Posadas, na Argentina (Primera Edición e Território Digital) e Porto Alegre, no Brasil, (Zero Hora e Correio do Povo) e investiga a cobertura realizada pelos veículos, de 2003 até 2014, em relação ao projeto de construção de duas hidrelétricas na fronteira entre os dois países, Brasil e Argentina, no rio Uruguai. O resultado dessa análise aponta a ausência da voz dos ribeirinhos atingidos pelo projeto.
