Beskrivelse
Summary:This paper aims to emphasize the importance of risk communication as an emerging discipline that, in the face of climate change, analyzes the global environmental crises caused by the current model of economic development. The case of the Baja Basin of the Pánuco River, which covers southern Tamaulipas and northern Veracruz, Mexico, is subject to major transformations that have substantially modified the regional coastal ecosystem, making the population more vulnerable to natural phenomena , Before which it is necessary to develop a culture of risk communication as an organized system that integrates the different local actors so that its implementation and follow-up is carried out with opportunity and effectiveness.
