The final questions are related to the conditions for the collective organization of these women and how subalternity is lived in a peripheral southern enclave of the national context.Desde la propuesta del análisis cultural y tomando la discusión sobre los procesos hegemónicos, el artículo se centra en el debate por la prostitución como explotación o como trabajo a raíz de la llegada del auge abolicionista a través de su forma jurídico política en el año 2008. Nos enfocamos en los saberes y prácticas que están en pugna en Río Gallegos, al sur de la Argentina, con foco en los procesos de negociación en los que participan las mujeres que ejercen prostitución. Las preguntas finales se relacionan con las condiciones para la organización colectiva de las mujeres que ejercen prostitución y con cómo se vive la subalternidad en un enclave sureño periférico del contexto nacional.A partir da proposta da análise cultural e a discussão sobre os processos hegemônicos, o artigo se centra no debate a respeito da prostituição como exploração ou como trabalho, tendo como fundamento o auge da proposta abolicionista e sua forma jurídico política no ano de 2008. Com base nos saberes e práticas em dispusta em Río Gallegos, no sul da Argentina, serão enfocados processos de negociação nos quais participam mulheres que exercem a prostituição.
